The old style cross stitch scroll frames and needlepoint scroll frames can be replaced by these new style fabric mounts that will do an excellent job of securing your cross stitch fabric, needlepoint canvas or petit point fabric taut for doing cross stitch, needlepoint or petit point craft projects.

Fabric mounts are available in three convenient sizes with
additional information and prices on our Order Page.

    These fabric mounts were designed to hold aida fabric however they may also be used for most other cross stitch fabrics, needlepoint canvas or petit point fabrics.

    These fabric mounts will secure your ground fabrics very taut as you stitch thereby reducing the amount of distortion introduced into your ground fabrics especially when the continental or basketweave stitches are used on needlepoint canvas.

For many people who enjoy doing cross stitch, needlepoint or petit point, sewing their ground fabric to twill tapes on an old style scroll frame can be a frustrating and laborious task. Often the twill tape will deform between the attaching staples or tacks and allow the ground fabric to distort during the stitching process. Professional blocking may be required with additional costs involved prior to framing the finished cross stitch pattern. Stitch Away, which has been manufacturing a new type of fabric mount for a number of years, will be pleased to show you that there is a new and unique way to secure your aida, linen, or canvas type ground fabrics.
