The fabric mounts are designed to hold Aida fabric, but may be used for canvas or linen.
The fabric mount is made from Selected American Red Oak.
No wing nuts to skin the user's hands or to snag the user's sweaters while they work.
No dowels to work loose or twill tapes to get dirty requiring replacement.
The fabric is generally protected on all four edges, there is no need for taping or edge stitching to keep the fabric from fraying.
The fabric is evenly held resulting in minimal distortion when the needlepoint continental/tent or basketweave stitch is used.
The fabric mount can be used in any position (landscape or portrait).
Changing from one design size to another takes a few seconds with no requirement for tacks, staples, sewing or taping.
The fabric mounts are quite light, durable, and warm to the touch. A great benefit for users with problem hands.
The fabric mounts will not absorb oil from the user's hands and get dirty. The finish used will not come off on the mounted fabric.
The decorative fabric tension adjustment knobs are easy to turn even for the physically challenged and it is easier for the user to get more tension into the fabric.
Customers may select ceramic or hardwood fabric tension adjustment knobs.

With a little practice the user can attach fabric to the mount with one hand. This permits a user who may be physically challenged in one arm or hand to be more independent.
The ability of being able to remove the fabric fast and the attractiveness of the mounts provide the user with an excellent medium for displaying their stitching craft at craft shows. Once the design is sold the user simply removes it from the mount and attaches another one for display.
A display easel is also available to support all sizes of the fabric mounts in either the portrait or landscape position.
