Loosen knobs to allow the top fabric support to move down approx. 1". Place the fabric over the mount and adjust the fabric supports to fit the fabric.

Place the fabric retaining bar on the fabric, 1" from the end of the fabric on top of the upper fabric support.

Push the fabric retaining bar and the fabric into the slot in the top of the upper fabric support.

Push the fabric retaining bar and the fabric down until the fabric retaining bar and the fabric lies flat in the slot of the upper fabric support.

Stretch fabric slightly down over lower fabric support. Place fabric retaining bar on the fabric, 1" from end of fabric on top of lower fabric support.

Push the fabric retaining bar and the fabric into the slot of the lower fabric support.

Push the fabric retaining bar and the fabric down until the fabric retaining bar and the fabric lies flat in the slot of the lower fabric support.

Tighten the fabric adjustment knobs to apply desired tension to the fabric. The upper and lower fabric retaining bars will rotate and lock the fabric into position.

To remove the fabric from the fabric mount. Loosen the fabric adjustment knobs, relieving tension in the fabric. Press down on each fabric retaining bar until they unlock and lie flat. Grasp the ends of the fabric and pull the fabric and the fabric retaining bars up out of the fabric supports.

Instructions are available for doing bell pulls without crushing previously stitched fabric.

The old style cross stitch scroll frames and
needlepoint scroll frames can be replaced by
these new style fabric mounts that will do an
excellent job of securing your cross stitch fabric,
needlepoint canvas or petit point fabric taut for
doing cross stitch, needlepoint or petit point
    craft projects

These fabric mounts were designed to hold aida fabric
however they may also be used for most other cross
stitch fabrics, needlepoint canvas or petit point fabrics.

These fabric mounts will secure your ground
fabrics very taut as you stitch thereby reducing
the amount of distortion introduced into your
ground fabrics especially when the continental
or basketweave stitches are used on needlepoint
    canvas.

For many people who enjoy doing cross stitch,
needlepoint or petit point, sewing their ground
fabric to twill tapes on old style low cost scroll
frames can be a frustrating and laborious task.

Often the twill tape will deform between the
attaching staples or tacks and allow the cross
stitch fabric, needlepoint canvas or petit point
fabric to distort during the stitching process.
Professional blocking may be required with
additional costs involved prior to framing the
finished cross stitch, needlepoint or petit pattern.

Stitch Away, which has been manufacturing a new
type of fabric mount for a number of years, will be
pleased to show you that there is a new and unique
way to secure your aida, linen, or canvas type
    ground fabrics.

The Stitch Away fabric mount will secure most
cross stitch fabrics, needlepoint canvas and petit
point fabrics very taut when you want to stitch your
cross stitch pattern, needlepoint pattern or petit
point pattern. The larger models are excellent
for stitching needlepoint designs for use on
needlepoint footstools or as needlepoint pillows.

Stitch Away manufactures and sells a cross stitch
or needlepoint floor stand and a bobbin lace floor
stand. A single pillar needlework floor stand, a
twin pillar needlework floor stand in various styles
and two beautiful styles of ornamental footstools
for the stitching enthusiast who prefers to stitch
their own needlepoint pattern are available.

Stitch Away also manufactures and sells a bobbin
lace floor stand which supports the bobbin lace
bolster cradle. Bobbin winders and other bobbin
     lace accessories are also available.
