For many people who enjoy doing cross stitch, needlepoint or petit point, sewing their ground fabric to twill tapes on an old style scroll frame can be a frustrating and laborious task. Often the twill tape will deform between the attaching staples or tacks and allow the ground fabric to distort during the stitching process. Professional blocking may be required with additional costs involved prior to framing the finished cross stitch pattern. The Stitch Away fabric mount will secure most cross stitch fabrics, needlepoint canvas and petit point fabrics very taut when you want to stitch your cross stitch pattern, needlepoint pattern or petit point pattern. The larger models are excellent for stitching needlepoint designs for use on needlepoint footstools or as needlepoint pillows. Stitch Away manufactures and sells a cross stitch or needlepoint floor stand and a bobbin lace floor stand. A single pillar needlework floor stand, a twin pillar needlework floor stand in various styles and two beautiful styles of ornamental footstools for the stitching enthusiast who prefers to stitch their own needlepoint pattern are available.
