This floor stand can be adjusted to accommodate five sizes of old style scroll frames 18", 24", 27", 32" or 36" in width.
This floor stand is the deluxe model featuring solid brass hardware.
The standard model features zinc plated steel hardware.
The deluxe and the standard models are manufactured by highly skilled local craftsmen using premium American Red Oak and Canadian Maple.
No particle board or imitation wood products are used.
In order to enhance the appearance of the floor stand a dark burgundy stain is applied and several coats of a durable finish are applied to help protect the natural wood. The finish will not rub off or stain any fabric that it might come into contact with.
A working height of 34" is obtainable when the two side pillars are adjusted as shown.
The floor stand feet have a low profile to allow them to fit underneath most chairs and chesterfields.
The lower support bar of the floor stand shown above has been adjusted for a 24" scroll frame. For safety reasons the lower support bar has been designed so that in the event the lower support bar has been adjusted for any size of scroll frame there will be no parts of the lower support bar protruding from either the right or the left side of the floor stand which could cause a person to trip.
A booklet of assembly instructions is included. Assembly is easy and no tools are required for assembly or un-assembly.
